DICKINSON COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 6p.m. Thursday in Dickinson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2010 Jeep Gladiator driven by Robin Faye Hardman, 62, Bogue, and a 2011 Hyundai Sonata driven by Ernesto Saenz Flores, 19, Wichita, were southbound on U.S. 56 at 300 Avenue. The Hyundai struck the Jeep that had pulled into the turning lane and attempted to make a U-turn to go northbound.
EMS transported Flores to Salina Regional Health Center. Hardman and a passenger in the Jeep were not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
