Mabel Ann Fike, daughter of John Colburn and Nina (Kepford) Colburn was born February 18, 1938 in Guide Rock, Nebraska and passed away on March 19, 2022 at Belleville Health Care Center, Belleville, Kansas at the age of 84.

Mabel received her education in the Belleville public schools.

She was united in marriage to Loyal Dean Fike on May 29, 1958 and to this union one daughter Patricia was born.

She was a homemaker and worked at the Golden Bell Haven in the kitchen for many years.

She enjoyed playing bingo, teaching Sunday school at the Belleville Friends Church and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Nina Colburn, husband Loyal Dean Fike, three brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by one daughter, Patricia (Tracy) Elliott of Goodland, Kansas, three grandchildren, Josh, Janelle, Ashley, nine great-grandchildren, Memphis, Bailey, Blake, Colton, Jackson, Michael, Aleah, Avery, Axton, one sister, Donna of Downs, Kansas, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, March 24, 2022, Bachelor-Surber Memorial Chapel, Belleville, Kansas.

Interment will be in Belleville Cemetery, Belleville, Kansas.

Memorials may be given to the Mabel Fike Memorial Fund.

Friends may call on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville, Kansas where the family will greet friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
