Jeanette Barnett, Beloit

Jeanette Leola Verlyn Perritt was born on March 8, 1946 in Chatham, Ontario, Canada the daughter of Orlo and Leola Perritt. She died on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 75.
Jeanette attended elementary school in Thamesville, Ontario and high school in Dresden, Ontario. After completion of high school, she attended and graduated from beautician school in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
On June 9, 1968, she was united in marriage with Lloyd Barnett in Chatham, Ontario, Canada. Three sons, Dwayne, Darin, and Dee were born to this union of over 51 years.
Jeanette held many different professional positions throughout her life including a hairdresser, administrative assistant at various hospitals as well as medical clinics. Her main profession was that of a loyal and loving wife as well as raising her three sons with love, discipline, compassion and great care.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Lloyd.
She is survived by sons Dwayne Barnett and his wife Tara, Darin Barnett and his wife Tonya, and Dee Barnett and wife Myra; brother James Perritt and wife Shirley; sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Bowen and husband Ron, and Linda Barnett; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 7 at the Roberts Family Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place an there will be no visitation. Memorials may be given to Solomon Valley Hospice or Beloit Medical Center.
