By SALINA POST SALINE COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 3 p.m. Wednesday in Saline County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Volvo semi driven by Abdifatah&nbsp;Hassan, 45, St. Cloud, Minnesota, and a 2022 Ram pickup driven by Dirk&nbsp;Speed, 66, Salina, were southbound at Interstate 135 at&nbsp;W Stimmel Road.

Hassan missed the exit onto Interstate 70 and made an illegal U-turn across the median, causing a collision with the&nbsp; pickup.

EMS transported Hassan and Speed to Salina Regional Health Center. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
