Salina City Commission considers construction bid for new public dog park

The Salina City Commission will hold its regular meeting on Feb. 10, 2025. It will begin at 4:00 p.m. in Room 107 of the City-County Building, 300 West Ash Street.

The meeting will begin with confirmation that the required notice under the Kansas Open Meeting Act has been provided, followed by a roll call.

(4.1) The commission will consider approving the minutes from the Jan. 27, 2025, meeting.

(4.2) Resolution No. 25-8279 will appoint members to the Tree Advisory Board.

(5.1) The commission will consider awarding the bid for the construction of a new public dog park at John Parker Jr. Memorial Park to Ponton Construction, Inc. for an amount not to exceed $213,000.

(9.1) The commission will recess into executive session to consult with special legal counsel regarding legal considerations in the Cozy Inn vs. City of Salina case. The discussion will be held under attorney-client privilege pursuant to K.S.A. 75-4319(b)(2).
