Eighteen year old cited for Reckless Driving after crashing into Kenwood Hall

An 18-year old was cited for Reckless Driving after crashing into Kenwood Hall.

According to Saline County Sheriff, Roger Soldan on the early morning hours of Friday, deputies were dispatched to Kenwood Hall (near Bob Flaherty Dr.) for the report of a vehicle that struck the building.

Soldan stated an 18-year old female was operating the vehicle with a 17-year old female passenger before the crash. Reportedly, the driver was doing donuts in the parking lot and lost control of the vehicle, striking a dumpster and going through the south wall of Kenwood Hall.

The area of where the crash happened were bathrooms, which caused a flood in the building.

The 17-year old passenger was medically transported to Salina Regional Health Center for a wrist injury. The 18-year old driver was cited for Reckless Driving.
