FREMONT, Neb. – Kansas Wesleyan's Kayla Deaver (SR/Lee's Summit, Mo.) netted a pair of second half goals as the Coyotes beat Midland 2-0 on Saturday night.

KWU outshot the Warriors 20-10 in the match led by Deaver's seven shots, four on frame. Daisy Bingham (SR/Huntington Beach, Calif.) recorded the clean sheet in goal with six saves.

After a scoreless first half, the Coyotes got on the board on Deaver's first in the 62nd minute, a deep shot that found the bottom right corner for the score.

Deaver's second came in the 85th minute giving the Coyotes the insurmountable lead.

The Coyotes will return to action on next Saturday, facing No. 10 ranked Oklahoma Wesleyan at 5:30 p.m. in Bartlesville. The Coyotes then start a three match homestand on September 22, welcoming Ottawa, Bellevue and Tabor to the Graves Family Sports Complex.
