SALINA - William Franklin Cejka Sr., 80, died Tuesday, March 2, 2021. Mr. Cejka was born to Alexander and Georgann Cejka December 17, 1940 in Salina.
William worked for the City of Salina for 43 years as a truck driver. He also worked for Coach America Rail Transportation. He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol, CB Radio Club with the handle “Kansas Road Runner,” Eagles Aerie, American Legion and REACT with the Salvation Army. His hobbies included NASCAR and modle Railroads. He married Alice Marie Toothman on Oct. 16, 1970 at First United Methodist Church, Salina.
Survivors include his son, Sgt. William Cejka Jr. of Salina.
He was preceded in death by his wife , Alice Cejka; sister, Thelma Muller of Salina; and parents, Alex and Georgann of Salina.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday, March 8, 2021 with funeral services at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 9th all at Ryan Mortuary, Salina. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
