Crimestoppers seeks tips about two men who used stolen cards for purchases

On June 10, the Saline County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 2400 block of E. Water Well Road for the report of a vehicle burglary.

Sometime between 9 a.m. and noon on June 10, unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s vehicle that was parked in a parking lot and stole the victim’s debit card and credit card.

Later on June 10, the Saline County Sheriff’s Office took a second report of a vehicle burglary that had occurred in the 3000 block of S. Holmes Road in Saline County.

Sometime between 10-11 a.m. on June 10 unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s locked vehicle that was parked in a parking lot and stole the victim’s credit card.

On June 10, the credit and debit cards from both victims were used at Walmart in Salina to purchase items that includes multiple $200 prepaid gift cards. The suspects were two unidentified white males.

Total loss and damage is estimated to be in excess of $4,000.
