North Salina house damaged in early Thursday drive-by shooting

Police are investigating an early Thursday morning drive-by shooting in north Salina.

A 40-year-old Salina man was in a back bedroom of his residence in the 1300 block of N. Third Street at approximately 12:15 a.m. Thursday when he heard multiple gunshots, Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said this morning.

When officers arrived, they located three bullet holes in the front window and siding of the residence. Additionally, they located eight 9mm shell casings in front of the residence, Forrester said. Additionally, the man's LG television was shot.

Forrester said total damage was estimated at $1,500.

Police are reviewing surveillance video from the man's Ring camera. Additionally, the man shared some potential suspect information with police, Forrester said.
