Sherri Lea Walker
December 9, 1961 - June 21, 2022
Sherri Lea Walker was born to Thelma and Marvin L. Walker on December 9, 1961, in Oberlin, Kansas. She entered eternal rest at the age of 60 on June 21, 20222, after a prolonged illness. She graduated from Decatur Community High School in 1980.
Sherri worked as a CNA, a waitress, and a babysitter until her health prevented her from doing so. Then she cared for her mother for many years while in Oberlin, Kansas, following her parents to Lindsborg in 2005. She loved her nieces and nephews as well as visiting with her best friend, Donna, and her many friends at Blue Stem Pace.
Sherri was preceded in death by her parents; infant sister Sandra; and brother Rick.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Marvin C. and Kris Walker and nephew Dylan Walker, all of Lindsborg; nephews Rick Walker and family of Louisburg, Mike Walker and family of Banks, Oregon, Andrew Walker; and niece Allyson Walker of Emporia,
Cremation has been chosen. A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, June 25 at Crick-Christians Funeral Home, 103 N. Washington, Lindsborg.
