A bid award, an appointment, and an executive session are among the items on the Saline County Commission agenda for Tuesday.
About the meeting
Saline County Commission is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday in room 107 of the City-County Building, 300 W. Ash Street. The meetings also can be viewed on Saline County’s YouTube channel:

Agenda items
Commissioners are scheduled to consider awarding a bid for a new excavator with forestry attachment for the Road and Bridge Department. The department is requesting that commissioners award the bid in the amount of $302,663.20 to Foley Equipment of Salina for a 2022 Caterpillar 320 excavator with forestry mulching attachment. Foley provided the low bid.
Other items on the county agenda for Tuesday include the following.
●Consider approving a resolution for the redeclaration of local public health emergency concerning the coronavirus pandemic.
●Consider appointing Robert Collier to the Community Corrections board to complete the term of resigning board member Rex Cearley.
●Hear the Road and Bridge Department update from Darren Fishel, road and bridge administrator
Commissioners also are scheduled to meet in an executive session for attorney-client privilege.
