NWS: Dense fog advisories in effect for our area

Be careful if you're traveling this morning. It's a bit foggy out there.

As such, dense fog advisories have been issued for counties in our area by the National Weather Service (NWS).

NWS in Hastings, Neb., has issued a dense fog advisory in effect until 11 a.m. for the following counties in our area.

Jewell County

Mitchell County

Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.

Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility. If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

NWS in Wichita has issued a dense fog advisory in effect until 10 a.m. Tuesday for the following counties in our area.

Ellsworth County

Lincoln County

Marion County

McPherson County

Saline County

Visibility one half mile or less in dense fog.

Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility. Visibilities will vary greatly over a short distance. If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

NWS in Topeka has issued a dense fog advisory in effect until 9 a.m. for the following counties in our area.

Clay County

Cloud County

Dickinson County

Ottawa County

Republic County

Visibility one quarter to one half mile in dense fog.
