Kansas Wesleyan's Tyler Tarvin has been selected as the KCAC Men's Golfer of the Week. Tarvin was selected for his performances from Sept. 5-11 by a vote of conference sports information directors.

Tarvin was key in helping the Coyotes post a fourth-place finish at last week's Southwestern Christian Invitational, that featured several top NAIA teams, along with top teams from the junior college ranks.

Tarvin posted a score of 206 (-10) for the tournament, to tie for ninth place in the individual standings. He posted single round scores of 74, 65 and 67. His second round score of 65 was the second lowest score posted in any round in the tournament.

KWU is back in action next week as the Coyotes head to LeMars, Iowa for the Northern Iowa NIT at Willow Creek.
