GYPSUM - Two more earthquakes shook the area southwest of Gypsum.

The first, a 3.2 magnitude quake, struck at 3:43 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Kansas Geological Survey. It was centered just northeast of the E. Hedberg Road/S. Whitmore Road intersection.

The second earthquake, a 2.9 magnitude quake, struck a bit northwest of the first at 7:40 p.m. Wednesday. It was centered just west of S. Whitmore Road between E. Hedberg Road and E. Assaria Road.
