Salina woman arrested on requested drug charges

A Salina woman was arrested after an alleged altercation with a police officer in north Salina Friday.

Salina Police Sergeant Kyle Tonniges reported this morning that on Friday, an officer was attempting to locate Marilyn Sidener, 39, of Salina, at the Days Inn, 407 W. Diamond Drive in reference to an alleged domestic dispute that occurred on March 31.

Sidener allegedly attempted to flee from the officer and resisted arrest. Eventually, she was taken into custody and allegedly found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Tonniges said Sidener was arrested on the following requested charges.

●Possession of methamphetamine

●Possession of drug paraphernalia

●No drug tax stamp
