Paul Arthur Hubenett, 88, of Windom, Kansas, passed away at 11:30 p.m., Monday, December 5th, 2022 at Sandstone Heights Nursing Home, Little River, Kansas.
Paul was born in Hutchinson, Kansas on November 18, 1934, a son of Anna Emelie (Johnson) and John A. Hubenett.
Paul attended the Stone Corral Grade School and 8th grade at Libby Country School, graduated from Little River High School, Little River, Kansas in 1951.
He was a member of Andover Lutheran Church in Windom.
Paul was a farmer and worked at the Hutchinson and McPherson sale barns, worked at the elevator in Windom for Windom Grain, W.R Mill, and Mid-Kansas Coop.
He was a member of the Windom Lions Club, Windom, Kansas.
Paul A. Hubenett was united in marriage to Elois Nelson on May 29, 1965 at Andover Lutheran Church, rural Windom, Kansas. The young couple established their first home together in rural Little River. This union was blessed with the birth of four sons, Eric, Mike, Kirk and Phillip.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Elois Hubenett of Windom, Kansas; his sons Eric Hubenett and his wife Denise of Overland Park, Kansas, Michael Hubenett and his wife Melissa of McPherson, Kansas, Kirk Hubenett of Windom, Kansas and Phillip Hubenett and his wife Ellen of Fredrick, Colorado. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren, Peter, Brianna, Logan(Alex Weber), Brooks, Cara, Pruitt and Annalise.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents; and his sisters Lois Creed and Ruth Palmer.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Andover Lutheran Church, Windom, Kansas.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Andover Lutheran Church in Windom, Kansas with Pastor Anna Borders officiating.
Burial will be at the Andover Lutheran Church Cemetery, Windom, Kansas.
