It was a busy fall season for Kansas Wesleyan Women's Tennis. The Coyotes played in seven tournament events around the area.
A total of 74 singles and 35 doubles matches were played over the course of the schedule for the fall season.
BETHANY FALL INVITATIONAL - SEPTEMBER 6-7
In the A-Draw - Corina Salas lost to Maria Purizaca of Doane 8-1, then lost to Shree Vangala of Fort Hays State 8-2, then lost to Liz Calderon Chen of Doane 8-5.
In the C-Draw - Eliza Camp lost to Ines Latorre of Fort Hays State 8-2, then lost to Isabella Castillero of Doane 8-6. Danielle Slack lost to Grace Unruh of Fort Hays State 8-1, then lost to Ana Sofia Castillo 8-1.
In the D-Draw - Kira McGrown lost to Greta Fankhauser of Sterling 8-5, then lost to Ines Steeman of Fort Hays State 8-0. McGrown then beat Grace Schroller of Doane 8-4.
In the F-Draw - Kaitlyn Wrye lost to Kat Johnson of Doane 8-5, then lost to Kelsee Adam of Bethany 8-2. Ania Bonner beat Kelsee Adam 8-3, then lost to Camila Castro of Sterling 8-2, then beat Kat Johnson of Doane 8-3.
In doubles in the A-Draw - McKinnley Evans and Corina Salas lost to Maria Purizaca and Liz Calderon Chen of Doane 8-1, then lost to Shree Vangala and Janae Montoya of Fort Hays State 8-5, then lost to Maria Mistereck and Ana Sofia Castillo of Bethany 8-6.
In the B-Draw - Eliza Camp and Danielle Slack beat Ine Latorre and Ines Steeman 8-6, then lost to Sienna Glazbrook and Yamile Mendoza of Pratt CC 8-3, then lost to Kelsee Adam and Kyla Metro of Bethany 8-2.
In the C-Draw - Lauren Higgins and Isabella Gutierrez-Myers lost to Bethany Gill and Hope Lubbers of Fort Hays State 8-1, then lost to Helen Harbit and Karee Adam of Bethany 8-2, then lost to Hailey Petersville and Imara Achala of Pratt CC 8-3.

In the No. 1 flight - Corina Salas beat Giovana Gaboardi of Sterling 8-6, then lost to Silva Avakian of Friends 8-5.
In the No. 2 flight - Hayden Bellamy beat Avila's Kylee Bragaw 8-3, then lost to Daniela Casique of Bethel 8-4.
In the No. 3 flight - Kristi Henderson beat Hannah Giordanelli of Sterling 8-3, then lost to Jewel Henderson of Oklahoma Wesleyan 8-2.
In the No. 4 flight - Danielle Slack lost to Alexia Phipps of Evangel 8-4.
In the No. 5 flight - Eliza Camp beat Ava Healy by default, the lost to Lareen van Drun of McPherson 8-2, then lost to Nikoleta Aleksic of Oklahoma Wesleyan 8-3.
In the No. 6 flight - Kira McGrown beat Skyy Washington of Bethany 8-1, then lost to Kate Rowland of Bethany 8-2, then lost to Greta Fankhauser of Sterling 8-5.
In doubles in the No. 1 flight - McKinnley Evans and Kristi Henderson beat Rachel Chaney and Lauren Hendrickson of Evangel 8-5, then lost to Daniela Casique and Daniela Herrera of Bethel 8-0.
In the No. 2 flight - Corina Salas and Hayden Bellamy beat Kyla Metro and Karee Adam of Bethany 8-6, then lost to Alexandria Gacia and Vanessa Hoffer of McPherson 8-2, then lost to Patty Huerta and Grace Dawes of Bethel 8-6.
In the No. 3 flight - Eliza Camp and Danielle Slack beat Nikoleta Aleksic and Kylie White 8-4, then lost to Adin Bruna and Alexis Kersten of Southwestern 9-7, then lost to Isabella Ellerbee and Madison Dobson of McPherson 8-0.
ITA CENTRAL WEST REGIONAL - SEPTEMBER 20-22
In the Round of 64, Corina Salas beat Grace Dawes of Bethel 6-2, 7-6; McKinnley Evans lost to Tracy Llamas of Saint Mary 6-0, 6-2; and Hayden Bellamy lost to Rocio Espinal of Oklahoma Wesleyan 6-2, 6-0.
In the Round of 32, Corima Salas lost to Mariana Molano-Canon of Concordia 6-0, 6-1.
In the Consolation Round of 32, McKinnley Evans lost to Josline Carter of Hastings 8-1, and Hayden Bellamy beat Stefany Simplicio of Morningside 8-2.
In doubles, in the round of 32, Kristi Henderson and McKinnley Evans lost to Alexa Garcia and Vanessa Hofer of McPherson 9-7; Hayden Bellamy and Corina Salas defeated Kailee Bailey and Sophia Guntren of Morningside 9-8.
In doubles in the round of 16, Hayden Bellamy and Corina Salas lost to Hanna Lindebloom and Charlotte Ready of William Woods 8-2.
The rest of the ITA Tournament was rained out.
KANSAS WESLEYAN INVITATIONAL - SEPTEMBER 21
In the first round - Isabella Gutierrez-Myers beat Aleayah Cheborad of Avila 8-4, Kira McGrown beat Skyy Washington of Bethany 8-1, and Danielle Slack lost to Camryn Medina of Ottawa 8-6.
In the second round, Isabella Gutierrez-Myers lost to Helen Harbit of Bethany 8-3, and Kira McGrown lost to Alejandra Parra 8-1.
In the consolation round - Greta Fankhauser of Sterling beat Lauren Higgins 6-0, and Taylor Cole of Morningside beat Danielle Slack 6-3.
KCAC INVITATIONAL - SEPTEMBER 28
In the A-Draw - Camila Lopez of Bethel beat Eliza Camp 8-2; Eliza Camp beat Skyy Washington of Bethany on a retirement; Kaitlyn Mauck of Evangel beat Eliza Camp 8-6. Charis Yager of Bethel beat Ania Bonner 8-6; Kaitlyn Mauck beat Ania Bonner 8-5. Karee Adam of Bethany beat Danielle Slack 9-8, Danielle Slack beat Kayla Babcock of Bethel 8-0, Makenna Russom of Bethany beat Danielle Slack 9-8.
In the B-Draw - Reagan Askew of Evangel beat Lauren Higgins 8-2, and Higgins beat Scarlet Minix of Saint Mary 8-3. Karissa Wilson of Evangel beat Isabella Gutierrez-Myers 8-1. Gutierrez-Myers then beat Victoria Anderson of Saint Mary 8-0, and teammate Lauren Higgins 8-0.
PRATT CC DOUBLES TOURNAMENT
Eliza Camp and McKinnley Evans went 1-3 at the event, starting with an 8-4 loss to Bethany Gill and Ines Latorre from Fort Hays State. They then beat Queralt Carbo and Laura Moreno from Missouri Valley 8-0. The duo then lost to Pratt's Sienna Glazbrook and Yamile Mendoza 8-5, then lost to Nadia Margaritov and Hannah Giordanelli of Sterling 8-5.
Alivia Sherer and Isabella Gutierrez-Myers went 2-1 at the event. They beat Giovana Gaboardi and Greta Fankhauser of Sterling 8-6, then beat Molly Bender and Alana Ewert of Friends 8-1. They lost to Tristan Liebenberg and Deborah Mhizha of Missouri Valley 8-2.
Hayden Bellamy and Danielle Slack went 2-2 at the event. They defeated Hope Lubbers and Ines Steeman of Fort Hays State 8-6, then lost to Milene Mariniuk and Renata Olvera of Missouri Valley 8-4, and to Margaritov and Giordanelli of Sterling 8-1. They then beat Pratt's Glazbrook and Mendoza 8-6.
Kaitlyn Wrye and Mira McGrown went 2-2 at the event. They lost to Liebenberg and Mhizha of Missouri Valley 8-1, the beat Camila Castro and Cylie LaTourell of Sterling 8-5, and Hailey Petersville and Imara Achala of Pratt 9-7. They lost to Caboardi and Fankhauser of Sterling 8-0.
KANSAS WESLEYAN QUAD INDIVIDUAL TOURNAMENT
KWU concluded the fall season with an individual tournament with Bethany, Barton Community College and Sterling.

Isabella Gutierrez-Myers beat Kelsee Adam 1-4, 5-3, 8-6. Lauren Higgins lost to Bethany's Riley Ahlstedt 3-5, 5-3, 10-3.
