June “Patty Jo” Elizabeth LeMay, 77, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 21, 2020. She was born June 12, 1943 in Florence, Kansas to Milton Alfred and Dorothy Marie (Kelly) Herzet.
She graduated from Potwin High School. She married Jess “Jay” LeMay on May 20, 1966 at St. John’s Catholic Church in El Dorado, Kansas. To this union there were three children.
Patty Jo was a member of the Potwin Methodist Church and enjoyed going out with a ladies group to eat dinner.
Her loving family includes her husband, Jay LeMay of Potwin; son, Chris LeMay of Wichita; daughters, Melissa LeMay of Potwin; and Connie LeMay of Aurora, Colorado; brother, Kelly Herzet of Potwin; and a sister, Marsha Weilert (Kenny) of Wichita. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of life service will be on Friday, August 28, at 10:00 am at the Potwin United Methodist Church. Inurnment will take place following the service at McGill Cemetery in Potwin, Kansas.
