Donald J. Gassman, 88, Minneapolis, died Wednesday, August 11, 2021 in Minneapolis. He was born October 4, 1932 in Chapel, NE to John and Rose (Fross) Gassman.
After high school graduation, Don served in the United States Air Force for four years. He and June Hollis were united in marriage on April 11, 1952 in Delphos. Don’s electrical career took him to Colorado, Florida, North Dakota, and Kansas. He was preceded in death by his wife June in 2003.
Survivors are his children Dennis (Becky) Gassman, Minneapolis, Debbie (Brad) Comfort of Minneapolis, Judi Loftin of Fort Smith, AR, and Jill Streit of Salina; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and his very special friend, Joan Barnum of Minneapolis.
Graveside services will be held at a later date in Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis.
