Hotel assault leads to the arrest of a man who denied the incident took place.
According to the Salina Police Department (SPD) on Saturday at 2:00 am, officers were dispatched to the Sunflower Inn and Suites (2100 block of W. Crawford) referencing an alleged assault.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with a female who had obvious facial, chest and neck injuries.
SPD stated, a 47-year old man identified as Marcus Cantu, got into an argument with the female before he allegedly assaulted her.
Officers spoke with Cantu who was on the scene and he denied a physical altercation happened.
However, probable cause led to Cantu's arrest for the alleged assault.
He was booked into the Saline County Jail for the requested charge of Aggravated Domestic Battery.
