Harriet (June) Louise Levendofsky

Harriet (June) Louise Levendofsky, the daughter of Glen E. June and Cecelia (Andersen) June, was born November 24th, 1933, in Belleville, Kansas, and passed away on Friday, June 26, 2020, at Cloud County Health Center at the age of 86 years, 7 months, and 2 days.

Harriet graduated from Haddam High School in 1951.  On April 23, 1955, she was united in marriage to Paul M. Levendofsky and to this union were born Randy and Paulette.  The couple made their home on a farm north of Belleville, Kansas.

After graduation, Harriet worked as a Telephone Operator in Haddam, Kansas, then as a clerk at JC Penney in Concordia, Kansas.  Upon marriage, she worked at the Belleville High School cafeteria, and then turned her focus on her family and became a stay-at-home mother and farm wife.  She was active in her children’s 4-H programs, which included raising and showing livestock.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Paulette, her parents and two brothers.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Levendofsky, of rural Belleville; son Randy and wife Sherry of Timnath, Colorado, two granddaughters, Jill (Levendofsky) Barker and husband Lance of Timnath, Colorado, and Stacey (Levendofsky) Peterson and husband Dan of Overland Park, Kansas; four great grandchildren, Ben and Katie Barker, Maya and Natalie Peterson.

Harriet was a member of the St. Edward Catholic Church in Belleville, Kansas, where her funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 10:00 am, Father Henry Baxa officiating.  Burial will be in St. Josaphat Cemetery rural Belleville.  Visitation will be Tuesday, June 30th, 2020, from 5:00pm - 8:00 pm, with Rosary Service at 6:00 pm, at Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home, Belleville, Kansas.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials that will be directed per the family.
