McPherson County moving to next phase of reopening; new cases at 26

MCPHERSON -- McPherson County is moving to its next phase of reopening, according to information released this afternoon from the McPherson County Health Department (MCHD).

"After carefully considering local hospital capacity, new case rates and provider feedback, MCHD recommends McPherson County transition to Phase 3 reopening plans beginning February 10, 2021. Phase 3 limits gatherings to 45 individuals when 6-foot distance is not maintained. More information on Phase 3 plans can be found on the McPherson County website, mcphersoncountyks.us," the health department noted in a news release.

The health department noted that since the last report on Thursday, the county has recorded 26 new cases of COVID-19. Following is the updated case data from the health department.
