Minerva Rodriguez ArandaMinerva Rodriguez Aranda, 88, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Sunday, July 7th, 2024.
Minerva was born in Fort Worth, Texas on August 4, 1935, a daughter of Librada (Garcia) Montoy and Alonzo Rodriguez.
Survivors include two daughters, Alma Jaquez, Marta Retana (Juan), both of Salina; two sons, Oscar Aranda Jr. (Jill), of Summerville, South Carolina, Noe Ovalle (Linda), of Salina. She is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren; and 7 great great grandchildren.
Minerva is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Oscar Aranda Sr.; brothers, Noe and Gaspar; and granddaughter, Angelina Montoya.
Cremation has been chosen and no services are planned. Minerva will be placed next to her husband at Kansas Veterans Cemetery later. Donations may be made to Wreaths Across America in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio St., Salina, Kansas.
