The Sacred Heart boys basketball team will enter the final three weeks of their regular season at 11-3.

The Knights have suffered just three losses all year, falling to Hays TMP in late January and being swept by the league rival Southeast of Saline Trojans.

Aside from that, Sacred Heart has played immaculate basketball this season, especially with a younger team that is just now coming into their final form.

The Knights have outscored their opponents by 119 points this season and posted four 60+-point performances in their first five games.

Sacred Heart has been led this season by the veteran post play of Alex Disberger who has gotten a major boost from a loaded supporting cast.

Around Disberger, guys like Evan Bogart, Max Ehrlich and Michael Matteussi have risen to the occasion for one of the most dangerous unranked teams in the state.

Three of the next four opponents should pose a challenge to the Knights before sub-state, including a rematch with the Beloit Trojans as Sacred Heart, frantically looks to claw their way back in the league standings.

The Knights will be back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Victoria for a date with the 4-11 Knights.
