With the beginning of the Champions Indoor Football season less than a month away the final schedule for the Salina Liberty, as well as the other seven teams in the CIF has been released.
While this schedule is similar in many ways to the one released a few months back, there are several key changes to the road for Salina in 2021.
The Liberty will still play four of their first five games at home, hosting the Arlington Cowboys on March 27th, the Wichita Force on April 2nd, the Omaha Beef on April 10th and the Sioux City Bandits on April 24th.
The lone road trip in this stretch will see Salina travel to play the expansion Wyoming Mustangs on April 17th.
All Liberty home games will be played in the confines of the Tony’s Pizza Events Center, and kickoff times are all scheduled for 6:35 CT.
Following their first five games Salina will receive a bye week to rest up for the most brutal stretch of their season.
On May 8th, the Liberty will travel to Enid Oklahoma to take on the Aces, and on May 15th will take on Sioux City in Iowa.
Salina will have two of its next three weeks off with a home game against Oklahoma on May 29th splitting the teams final two bye weeks.
Down the home stretch, the Liberty will travel to Omaha on June 12th, host Sioux City on June 19th and wrap up their season in Wichita on June 26th.
Start times for Liberty road games remain TBD for the time being, but stay tuned to the Salina Post for more continuing coverage of the 2021 Salina Liberty season.
