Summer vacation has officially come to an end. USD 305 begins its staggered start schedule for students returning to school this week.

It's not just USD 305, students all over the country are getting ready to head back to school. With brand-new backpacks full of fresh supplies, students are excited to get back in the classroom and see their old friends and meet new teachers.

For some, going back to school is a time of adventure and growth. They'll get to explore new subjects, join clubs, and make memories with their friends. But for others, the transition can be tough. Some students might feel nervous about leaving their old school behind or unsure about meeting new people.

Whether the first day of school makes you feel anxious or excited or somewhere in between, Salina Post wishes all students a great start to the 2023-2024 academic year.
