The NFL has gone on a scoring spree this season, with the league on pace to set a record for points scored in a campaign.
There are plenty of reasons for it, from the lack of an offseason that hurt defenses, quiet stadiums on the road, officiating that seems to help the offense and more aggressiveness from coaches.
A group of talented young quarterbacks like Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen, and successful older ones like Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady, also have played a role.
