🎾 Five Coyotes named to All-KCAC teams

Kansas Wesleyan's Hayden Bellamy, Rylee Frye and Alivia Sherer have been named to the All-KCAC Women's Tennis honorable mention teams as selected by the conference coaches.

Bellamy posted a 7-10 overall record playing No. 1 singles and a 10-8 record overall in doubles playing No. 1 doubles. In KCAC play, she went 3-6 at No. 1 singles and had a 7-3 record at No. 1 doubles.

Frye had a 7-10 overall record in singles. She went 2-8 at the No. 2 position, but went 5-2 at the No. 3 position in the lineup. In doubles, she had a 10-8 overall record and went 7-3 at the No. 1 position.

Sherer was named as the KCAC Women's Tennis Sportsmanship Player of the Year.

The Coyotes went 12-8 this season overall and had a 9-3 record in the KCAC, one of the best seasons for the team since the program's restart in 2001.

Kansas Wesleyan's Alex Sherer and Paul Jittawait have earned Men's Tennis All-KCAC honors as selected by the conference coaches.

Sherer was named to the honorable mention team, and Jittawait was named as the recipient of the KCAC Men's Tennis Sportsmanship Player of the Year.

Sherer posted a 7-5 record overall in the spring at No. 1 singles which included a 3-3 record in the KCAC. In doubles, he posted a 4-5 record and was 0-4 in conference play.

Jittawait was named as the Sportsmanship Player of the Year, displaying a high level of sportsmanship in matches.
