Salina Police discover a stolen UHaul van from Las Vegas and make a single arrest.
According to the Salina Police Department (SPD) on Thursday, August 14th at around 8:30 am, the police department received a FLOCK alert (camera detecting a vehicle associated with a crime) about a stolen UHaul van from Las Vegas, NV that entered the city.
Shortly after the alert, officers located the UHaul in the 100 block of N. Broadway. Officers then conducted a traffic stop and found three people occupying the van.
Officers arrested 51-year old Larry Paul from Denver, CO. During the arrest, authorities found meth amphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Paul was accused for Felony possession of stolen property, possession of meth amphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
SPD stated the other two occupants in the van were women, but were not arrested.
The value of the UHaul was valued at $35,000.
