Small quake strikes area southwest of Gypsum this morning

GYPSUM - A minor earthquake shook part of southeastern Saline County early Wednesday morning.

According to the Kansas Geological Survey, a 2.3 magnitude quake struck southwest of Gypsum at 5 a.m. It was centered just north of E. Hedberg Road and west of S. Whitmore Road.
