GYPSUM - Two more minor earthquakes rattled southeastern Saline County early this morning.

According to the Kansas Geological Survey, the first, a 2.8 magnitude quake, struck at 12:20 a.m. Monday southwest of Gypsum. It was centered just northeast of the E. Hedberg Road/S. Whitmore Road intersection.

The second earthquake, a 2.6 magnitude quake, struck a bit further east of the first at 12:46 a.m. Monday. It was centered just north of E. Hedberg Road between S. Kipp Road and S. Whitmore Road.
