David E. Lewis, 68, passed away peacefully September 30, 2025, at Smoky Hill Health and Rehabilitation in Salina, Kansas. He was born on November 26, 1956, to Lyle and Marie (Neihouse) Lewis.
David lived his life in Salina, KS where he spent much of his life surrounded by family and friends.
David was preceded in death by his father, Lyle Lewis; his mother, Marie Lewis; his brother Steven Lewis who was born asleep, his sister, Libby Wheeler, and his brother, Ron Lewis.David is survived by his sister Marilyn Snider of Salina, brother, Chuck Lewis of Salina, brother, John Lewis of Salina, brother Bill Lewis of Arizona, and sister, Kathy Lewis of Salina. He is lovingly remembered by his children: daughter, Jamie Parrett and her husband Robert of Kansas City; son Chad Lewis and his significant other Michelle of Salina; and daughter Shea Lewis of Pleasant Hill. David was a proud grandfather to Addy Lewis, Bethany Lewis, Brayden White, and Cole Parrett, who brought great joy and light to his life.
David will be remembered for his quiet strength, love for his family, and the deep roots he maintained in the Salina community.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date and time, allowing friends and loved ones to gather and honor his memory.
He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
