An unknown suspect allegedly stole over $5,000 worth of allergy medication from a store and is currently being sought out by Salina Police.
According to the Salina Police Department on Saturday, July 5th at around 4:45 pm, employees from Sam's Club (2919 Market Pl.) reported to police about a theft that occurred. Allegedly, at 4:00 pm a Hispanic man entered the store, 'picked up a 40-gallon tub and went to the allergy medicine aisle.
Furthermore, the man began putting numerous boxes of Zyrtec, Flonase, Allegra and Nasacort boxes in the tub. The man then walked out of the store and was last seen getting into a white Toyota 4-Runner, leaving the store.
It was estimated that over $5000 worth of allergy medications were stolen.
The investigation is ongoing.
