Billie “Bill” Douglas Stout, age 63, passed away May 31st, 2024 ending his battle with pancreatic cancer. Bill departed the Ranch surrounded by his family. Born to Kenneth and LaDonna (Walker) Stout on 13 March 1961 in Salina, Kansas.
You could write a novel about a man who knew no stranger and lived life to the fullest. Bill grew up in New Cambria KS. He was a 1983 graduate of Salina Central. Young and full of wild energy, he worked for JC Rodeo, occasionally getting on some bulls himself. He had 30+ years at Beechcraft in Salina working many different positions until the doors closed. Bill then joined the maintenance team at Kansas State University in Salina. He worked his way up to Production Coordinator. Bill has also been a Reserve Deputy for the Saline County Sheriff’s Department and a member of the Saline Mounted Patrol.
Bill's love for people went far beyond just family. His generosity, sense of humor and selflessness will carry on through the people his life touched, for many years to come.
He is survived by: His mother LaDonna Stout; wife, Tori Stout; son Dustin Stout (Taylor Stout) kids Aubree, Charlie, Seeley; daughter Kenna Stout, kids Ruger, Qwincie; bonus son Logan (Marla) kid Dylan; bonus son Landon Smith; bonus daughter Laramie Smith, kids Ronan, Anakin; brothers Brad (Shelia), Steve (Charline), Dave (Alicia); Family and Friends. Preceded in death by: His father Kenneth Stout; Family and Friends.
Visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m., and funeral service to follow at 3 p.m., on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Tumbleweed, 5680 W Old Hwy 40, Salina.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rolling Hills Zoo, 625 North Hedville Road, Salina, Kansas 67401.
