Kan. man hospitalized after semi goes airborne, lands on its side

OTTAWA COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 4p.m. Friday in Ottawa County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1997 International semi driven by Jeremy D. Adams, 40, Beloit, was eastbound on Navajo Road at 40th Road. The semi traveled off the road to the right, went airborne and landed on its driver's side.

EMS transported Adams to Salina Regional Health Center. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
