Salina Police are searching for a suspect(s) who allegedly stole over $6,000 of tools from a work trailer.
According to the Salina Police Department on Monday, July 7th at around 6:45 am, an employee of Schwerdtfager Masonry reported that an unknown suspect(s) 'cut a lock off a work trailer' that was on the 3800 block of S. 9th and allegedly stole several tools from it. Police stated the alleged crime occurred sometime between 2:00 pm on the 4th of July and 6:30 am on Monday.
The tools that were reportedly stolen were:
Stihl concrete saws (2), Honda Generator, Hilti Concrete Nailer, Milwaukee Hammer drill and a black Dewalt 20-gallon air compressor.
Total loss was valued to be around $6,500.
The investigation is ongoing.
