Two adults were arrested for hosting a house party that involved minors consuming alchohol.
According to the Saline County Sheriff's Office on Friday at around 9:15 pm, deputies were dispatched to the 400 block of E. Water Well Road for the report of minors consuming alcohol at a house party.
Reportedly, deputies discovered a large gathering of juveniles along with two older adults (male and female) in the garage of the home. Many juveniles started running away from the scene.
Deputies were able to interview five juveniles who evidently consumed alcohol. All of them were under the age of 18.
Throughout the investigation, deputies came in contact with the adults and learned they were the ones who hosted the party.
Booked into the Saline County Jail was Marie Bott (27) and Corey Pennington (27) for the requested charge of Unlawfully Hosting Minors Consuming Alcoholic Beverages
Moreover, the five juveniles were cited and later released into the custody of their parents. One of juveniles could be related to either Bott or Pennington, according to the Sheriff's Office.
