
Kansas Wesleyan Men's Soccer dropped a 3-0 decision to the Southwestern Moundbuilders on Friday night at the Graves Family Sports Complex.
Southwestern netted a goal in the first half in the 33rd minute by Francis Weston.
The Coyotes tried to quickly counter on a shot by Steven Moya (SR/Whittier, Calif.), but missed just wide of target.
The 1-0 score would hold to the half.
Southwestern scored two quick second half goals in the 51st and 52nd minute, one by Alex Perez and a second by Watson, on a rebound of a shot by Fabio Schneider to put the 'Builders up 3-0.
The Coyotes tried to find a goal, but were unlucky the rest of the way.
Southwestern outshot the Coyotes 17-8 in the match. Steven Moya had three to lead the Coyotes. Eduardo Picaso had six saves in goal for the Coyotes.
The Coyotes are back in action next Saturday at Sterling to close out the regular season.
