Larry “Keith” Anderson, 84 passed away on August 6, 2023, after a short illness.&nbsp; He was born December 17, 1938 in Sheridan County, Kansas.&nbsp; He was the son of Bill and Ruth Shafer Anderson.&nbsp; After graduating from Sheridan County High School, Larry earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in History from Fort Hays State University. &nbsp;

Larry and his family moved to Salina where he was a History Professor at Marymount College of Kansas and later the registrar at Marymount.&nbsp; Larry changed professions in 1979 and went to work in the airline industry until his retirement in 2008. &nbsp;

Larry is survived by his wife, Norma of 63 years; son, Rob (Pam); daughter, Mel LaBossiere; four grandsons, Brian (Christina), Kevin (Emily), Jean-Luc (Jenna) and Josh (Pennie); three great-grandchildren; sister, Kaye Hird (Carroll); and brother, Robert Anderson (Maxine).&nbsp; Larry was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dale Anderson.

Funeral services are Friday, August 11, 2023, at 10:30am at Emmanuel Church, 1325 E. Cloud, Salina, KS. Visitation is at the home on Thursday afternoon and evening.&nbsp; Memorials may be made to the Salina Alzheimer’s Caregiver Education and Support Group or Gentiva Hospice, in care of Ryan Mortuary.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
