An attempted burglary to a Salina business, could be connected to recent downtown burglaries as an investigation ensues.
According to the Salina Police Department (SPD) at around 3:45 am on Saturday, officers were dispatched to a burglary alarm at a business in the 1300 block of Armory.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a window had been shattered, kicked open and pry marks were evident.
Throughout the investigation, there was no entry made into the building.
The attempted burglary remains to be under investigation and SPD is suspecting this to be connected to the recent downtown burglaries.
Damage to the window was estimated to be $500.
