SALINE COUNTY - An Ogallah man was medically transported to the hospital after crashing into a tree in Saline County.
According to the Saline County Sheriff's Office on Monday at around 11:20 am, deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Niles and Country Club Road for the report of a single-vehicle crash.
Reportedly, a 2023 Ford F150 driven by Darryl Steckline (69) of Ogallah, KS was going southbound on Niles Road and did not navigate the T - intersection. Steckline continued south across Country Club Road and crashed into a tree.
Steckline was medically transported to Salina Regional Health Center for injuries he suffered to his head and face.
Throughout the investigation, Operations Captain Jim Hughes stated Steckline sustained some type of medical condition prior to the crash.
There were no passengers with Steckline.
