GYPSUM -- The Saline County Sheriff's Office was called to Gypsum Thursday for the report of a stolen Xbox, but the call turned out to be much more.
Donald Stebbins reported that sometime between 7:40 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday, someone stole an Xbox 1X and the Grand Theft Auto 5 game that was in it from his residence in the 600 block of Spring Street, Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan said this morning. The Xbox and game were valued at $870, he said.
While deputies were there, Stebbins also reported that between Sept. 28 and Saturday, someone got into his back yard and stole a 40-ton Swisher log splitter, valued at $1,200, and three Stihl chainsaws, valued at $750, Soldan said.
No suspects were reported.
