Red Fern Booksellers has announced the dates and details of their third annual Author's Fair that will be held in October.
On Sunday, October 19th from 3:00 to 5:00 pm, Red Fern Booksellers will host a day for local authors to meet and discuss about their writings with the community. This free event is open to the public on 106 S. Santa Fe Ave.
For authors that are interested in applying for the Author's Fair, Red Fern is requiring you to fill out an application form by going to: https://forms.gle/Luwdh93vJdCJgJyg6
This form is open now to apply and will close Wednesday, September 10th.
Red Fern will review each of the application submissions and contact those authors who have been selected for the Author's Fair by Monday, September 15th.
If you do not hear back by then, feel free to re-apply for the Spring Fair.
Guidelines to apply
- Be a FAN of Red Fern Booksellers and be a familiar face!
- You must market yourself (of course, we will be posting about your work, too), but when hosting events, it takes both of us to get the word out about you. To market yourself, you can post online (having an online presence is important), connect with your community and other local authors, and share your book in the old-fashioned way: word of mouth.
- For this event you have to bring your own books, and we will sell them (60% (you) 40% (us). After the event we will send you a check in the mail and a thank you.
