On Wednesday, KSHSAA officially released its schedule for this year's softball regionals, and Southeast of Saline will be the host site of the first two rounds in the upper half of their bracket.

The Lady Trojans (18-2) will come into this year's Lyons Regional as the one-seed and will square off with Nickerson (1-19) to open postseason play around at around 3:00 on Monday.

That game will take place 30 minutes after another game in Gypsum that will see 9-9 Hesston battle a 6-12 Smoky Valley team that Southeast swept earlier in the year.

Later that evening, the two winners will face off in the regional semifinal, again on the campus of SES, for the right to play for a ticket to state at 5:30 in Lyons on Tuesday.

On the other side of the bracket, Lyons (1-17) will host Hoisington (15-4), with the winner moving on to battle Ellsworth (15-5) or Ellinwood (3-16) in the other semifinal.
