Rose Alice Burton, 94, of Salina, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020. She was born April 25, 1926 in Hominy, OK.
Rose worked tirelessly for many years at Tony’s Pizza until retirement. Also, for many years she enjoyed being a nursing aide for many people. Through it all her favorite titles were mom and grandma. Her favorite hobbies were sewing, Quilting and Bingo!
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charley and Jenny (Adams) Benfer; husband, Harry Burton; son, Charles Miller; brothers, Carl Benfer, Earl Benfer, Leonard Benfer, sister, Beulah Windsor; ½ sister, Helen McAdoo.
Survivors include her children, Russell (Doris) Miller, and Carrolyn (Morris) Henry; brother, Everett Benfer; grandchildren, Troy Henry, Todd Henry (Charlene), Travis Henry (Nell), Debra Skalinder (Tim), David Miller (Brenda), Jody Miller Vass, Eric Miller Vass; great grandchildren, Zachary Henry, Zane Henry, Tempest Henry, Isabelle Henry, Gabrielle Henry, Breanna Chaput, DJ Chaput, Dakota Skalinder (Rebecca), Garret Vass, Alie Durst, Josie Miller; great great-grandchildren, Delani Calloway, Bryson Tilton.
Visitation will be 2-7 pm on Monday, October 12, 2020 at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 East Crawford, Salina.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 11:30 am, October 13, 2020 at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 E. Crawford, Salina. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.
