October 2, 2020 - November 26, 2021

Sadie Kaylynn Nelson, 13 months old, of McPherson, passed away at 7:50 p.m., Friday, November 26, 2021 at Children's Mercy Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri.

Sadie was born in McPherson, Kansas on October 2, 2020, a daughter of Jamie Nichole (McVicker) and Timothy Daniel Nelson, of McPherson, Kansas.

Sadie liked listening to music, being held, getting her hands on anything she could, meeting everyone and had an infectious smile.

She attended Free Methodist Church, McPherson, Kansas. She was dedicated by Dr. David Kessler in December of 2020.

She is survived by her parents, Tim and Jamie Nelson, of McPherson, Kansas; her maternal grandparents, Mark and Beth McVicker, of McPherson, Kansas; paternal grandparents, Arvard and Pamela Nelson, of McPherson, Kansas; maternal great-grandfather and wife, Walter and Doris Myers, of Phoenix, Arizona; paternal great-grandfather, Dale Anderson, of McPherson, Kansas; paternal great-grandmother, Dolores Nelson, of McPherson, Kansas; her aunt Janessa Surface and husband Kyle, McPherson, Kansas; her uncle Matthew Nelson and wife Sarah, of Protection, Kansas; her cousin, Jessie Nelson, of Protection, Kansas; and other relatives.

Sadie was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandmother, Margy Myers; paternal great-grandmother, Marybeth Anderson; paternal great-grandfather, Clarence Nelson; and maternal great-grandparents, Edward and Leora McVicker.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at McPherson Free Methodist Church, McPherson, Kansas.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 3, 2021 at McPherson Free Methodist Church with Dr. David Kessler officiating.

Private family burial will be at the McPherson Cemetery McPherson, Kansas.
