A large part of the state received rain during the 24-hour period that ended at 7 a.m. this morning.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Wichita, the estimated totals on the above map are a mix between observed and radar-estimated rainfall. Portions of Barton, Ellsworth, and Russell counties received greater than three inches or rain, NWS noted.
