SALINE COUNTY - A single-vehicle crash results in a potential alcohol-related crash involving a teenager.

According to the Saline County Sheriff's Office on August 9 at 2:11 am, deputies were notified that a silver 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by a 17-year-old female of Ellsworth was heading westbound on K-140 when, for an unknown reason left the roadway on the south side.

She struck the intersection of Powers Road and the vehicle was disabled.

As a result, she suffered facial lacerations and was transported by EMS to Salina Regional Health Center for treatment.

Sheriff's Office cited her for Improper driving on a laned roadway and requested a charge of DUI with those results pending.
