Father’s Day is coming up and Child Advocacy & Parenting Services (CAPS) wants to give you and your children the chance to show off dad.
Submit a 1-2 minute video to show why he is the best dad around. Have your children do an interview with dad, show him showing off or record your kids sharing how he shows his love for them and why they think he’s the best - the sky’s the limit! Well, limited to a 100 MB video. Creativity is encouraged!
Submit the video on the CAPS website, www.capsofsalina.org.
Once you’ve submitted the video, you will receive a social media kit to promote your video to your friends and family. Promote your video frequently and widely to get as many votes as possible! It's $5/vote. Funds raised from the Favorite Father Contest will support CAPS programs that are not eligible for other sources of funding. CAPS programs are designed to reduce risk factors associated with child abuse and neglect and are free to the public.
Deadline for submissions: noon, Friday, June 10.
Voting begins 9 a.m., Saturday, June 11 and concludes at 11:59 p.m., Sunday, June 19.
The winner will be announced on Monday, June 20.
The “Favorite Father” will receive a $25 ACE Hardware gift card and $25 Smoky River Meats gift card.
One entry per father. We recognize that some families may have two fathers, a stepfather or other father figure, so nominate them all!! We want to see how dads show up for their kids!
